Their Members
Comprise of Applicant & Licensed Producers, Physicians, Patients and affiliated businesses within the Canadian cannabis industry,
Why is strength in numbers important? Why is it important to have a single unified voice?
Advocacy is incredibly important in the MMPR industry in Canada. As we move to the next Federal election, the need for cannabis advocacy continues to be considerable. The people in office determine what our laws will be, and how they will be enforced.
The more numbers we have the stronger our voice becomes with all levels of government – municipal, provincial or federal. The stronger the voice, greater is the need for it to be heard. As a united community we would like to further that voice to benefit all facets of the Canadian cannabis landscape from Patients to Physicians along with Businesses that form that foundation.
Supporting advocacy supports the future of the cannabis industry. Part of being a first mover in a new industry means helping the industry grow. We want to be able to change the image of Cannabis nationwide and prove that that it make a huge difference therapeutically.
The CNMMA works closely with Health Canada amongst other federal, provincial and municipal governments to develop and shape policy around cannabis use in Canada as well as hold these departments responsible for their role in shaping the future of Cannabis in Canada.
