MASTER GROWERS

We are currently casting for an exciting new show, “Master Growers”. This Doc Reality Series will follow the trials and tribulations of the Southern & Northern American Growers. In a time that is quickly becoming the end of Marijuana Prohibition, entrepreneurs from every walk of life are creating their own farms (no matter how big or small) to accommodate cannabis.

“Master Growers” will showcase the lives, successes and hardships of the Grower in this newly booming industry. Each grower will have the opportunity to showcase their specific & unique grow method, crop, & ultimately prove who is the master grower.

What we are looking for are fun characters with a passion for what they do. If you have a story, we want to hear it. Our goal is to collect a strong cross section of interesting individuals that are already legally involved in this industry or have decided to break into this exciting “New Frontier”.

We are also interested in receiving applications from growers (indoor, outdoor or greenhouse) of other food edibles (micro greens, vegetables, etc…) and growers of Hemp.

Below is a quick Bio of the team members.

VIN MARU is the Chief Editor of www.InvestInMJ.com, a public portal for investors interested in the Marijuana, Cannabis and Hemp industry. He focuses on all aspects of the legalized marijuana and hemp industry including financial awareness, business analysis, investment and business opportunities coverage. He is engaged in several verticle markets of the industry including consulting, marketing, equipment distribution and supply. He is now excited to be part of the team which is helping bring the new “Master Growers” Doc Reality Series to TV.

MEGHAN HALL is a Los Angeles based Television Producer with experience managing and producing various Doc-Reality shows. Meghan has worked on hit series such as Deadliest Catch (Discovery Channel), Ice Road Truckers (History Channel), Bering Sea Gold (Discovery Channel), Black Gold (Tru TV), Game of Arms (AMC), & Airplane Repo (Discovery Channel) just to name a few.

JARRET PALMER is a Los Angeles based Television Producer with experience producing and developing shows like Deadliest Catch, Storage Wars, 1000 Ways to Die, Rivermen and more.

Update to Master Growers TV Doc Reality Series - Dec 1, 2014

Many of you have been asking about the status and progress of the TV series. The producers of the show, Megan and Jarret, have provided the following update.

Dear Applicant,

We wish to thank you for taking the time to complete the casting application for Master Growers. We are very excited about this new project, and can’t wait to introduce the world to the trials and tribulations of the Modern Grower. Long gone are the days of stoners hiding in their basements with their grow lights. A new era has begun and you are the revolutionaries of this new age of health and relaxation.

We have received many applications since our search first began, and we wish to give each one of them the proper amount of time and consideration before we make our final decisions. Our application process will officially close on December 31st, when we will narrow our search to a final 10. If contacted we would ask you to make a small video showing who you are and why you and your facility might be great additions to our cast. Some of you have already submitted Youtube videos and in most cases this will have already fulfilled this requirement. We will contact you if additional video is needed.

The point of this show is to introduce the world into the daily life of a grower. Showing the highs and lows of working with such a temperamental plant, whilst simultaneously engineering them in a manner that can only be compared to art. We wish to welcome them into something that 99.9% of the world knows nothing about. It is for this reason that we are being as deliberate as possible to make sure we find exactly what the networks are looking for.

We are also looking into the legalities around filming. We want to make sure that every cast member is fully protected and will not have their business hindered because of our filming.

Finally, there will be two new shows about the Cannabis world coming out soon. One is named Pot Barons which will air on 11/28 on MSNBC. The other is called Medicine Man on TruTV. The release date for Medicine Man is still unknown. We would be very interested in getting your feed back on these shows. What you liked, disliked and how realistically it portrayed this world. We take your input very seriously, and we look forward to hearing it.
